INDORE: The Madhya Pradesh government ordered on Tuesday the arrest of Farhat Khan, whose book ‘Collective Violence and Criminal Justice System’ is the subject of a police probe, while she faces an FIR along with the Government Law College’s ex-principal Inamur Rahman, Prof Mirza Mojij and the publisher of the book.
State home minister Narottam Mishra said on Tuesday that he would write to the department concerned to “revoke her (Khan’s) PhD”, and warned that swift action would be taken against those spreading religious extremism. “We have formed teams to arrest the accused. They will be nabbed soon,” he said in Bhopal.
