A new Madden NFL 26 patch is set to arrive tomorrow following morning maintenance, bringing a mix of gameplay fixes, new Superstar content and additional gear.
On the gameplay side, the update addresses an issue that allowed users to hot route Bubble receivers on RPO Bubble plays after audibling from another formation. The development team noted this change was made to maintain the intended design of RPO screens, meaning players involved in those screens can no longer be hot routed at any point.
A separate fix resolves a rare situation where a ball carrier could freeze during the get up animation after reaching for the goal line. Defensive alignment has been adjusted in the Nickel 2-4 Odd Mug formation. New equipment is also included, highlighted by the F7 Pro Helmet along with new F7 Pro facemask options.
