A busy stretch of the M32 in Bristol will be closed for the next two nights while works are carried out on the central reservation. The closure affects the motorway between Eastville and the ring road at Filton, with one side shut tonight (Thursday, May 18) and the other side on Friday (May 19).
First Bus has advised passengers of some disruption to six services that usually travel along the M32. National Highways, which is responsible for the road, said it will be closed southbound between junctions 1 and 2 between 10pm tonight and 6am tomorrow.
It will then close again on the northbound carriageway between the same section, from 10pm on Friday night until 6am on Saturday morning. The southbound diversion will take motorists via the A4174 Filton Road, A38 Gloucester Road and B4469 Muller Road to join at junction 2.

"Services m1, m3 and m4 will be unable to serve the Begbrook bus stop and instead will serve the bus stop at the bottom of Stoke Lane. No bus stops will be missed for service T1, U3 or Y1."
