Marks & Spencer has launched a brand new Roast Deal Dine In, where foodies can pick up a main, plus three sides, serving two people for just £10.
The mouth-watering deal, which launched on February 15, includes mains like a boneless butter-basted chicken joint, boneless gammon joint, boneless basted beef joint, boneless bacon loin joint, a whole stuffed chicken or a whole rotisserie chicken.
Diners can pair these with sides such as goose fat roast potatoes, layered classic vegetables, buttery mashed potato, Yorkshire puddings, carrot and swede crush and gravy, among others.
M&S shared a picture of the new deal across their socials, and while thousands of people couldn't wait to pick up the deal for themselves, several commenters had the same complaint.
Many M&S customers have been left frustrated about the lack of vegetarian or vegan options when it comes to the main in the £10 deal.
One person asked: "No vegetarian option for the main?"
A second person commented: "Such a shame vegan roasting joint hasn't been included."
A third added: "Vegetarians miss out again."
Another pointed out: "I do think it really frustrating the limited vegetarian options with the dine in option."
"What's the vegetarian main course option please?," asked another, and M&S replied: "Hi, I'm afraid there isn't one in this Dine In but keep an eye out for future Dine Ins!".
Another commenter asked: "Where are the vegetarian mains? Come on," to which M&S pointed out that there are vegetarian options in other deals, such as the Pizza Night and Gastro-pub dine-in offers.
However, the woman added: "I understand that but what if I want the roast? Surprising in the 2020s." M&S replied that it had passed the feedback onto the food team.
Despite the complaints, many M&S fans were amazed by the offer, which can save diners up to £10.70 compared to buying the dishes separately.
One person said: "Wow! This sounds unreal. Will 100% be grabbing this dine in deal."
Another added "Will definitely be trying this, well done M&S", while some else said "Definitely getting this tomorrow."
Another foodie described it as a "bargain", while others said it was a "fantastic deal".
