Anyone who ate at the Subway at 7900 Bailey Cove Road in Huntsville on Oct. 4, 5, or 6, or shopped at the nearby Publix on Oct. 4, may have been exposed to measles. The Alabama Department of Public Health said an international traveler who tested positive visited both businesses while infectious, according to an ADPH news release issued Oct. 13.
The exposure windows are specific. Officials listed the Subway on Oct. 4, 5, and 6 between 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m., and the Publix at 12796 Bailey Cove Road Southeast on Oct. 4 between 1 and 3 p.m. A private laboratory reported the positive test to the state.
