Luis Suarez has posted a message to Darwin Nunez after it was confirmed the striker would be the new number 27 at Liverpool. Nunez is a Uruguayan international team-mate of Suarez and is following in his footsteps in signing for the Reds.

The former Liverpool star is full of support for his compatriot after his move to Liverpool was confirmed. The move from Benfica is worth £64 million up front, but it could rise to £85m if add-ons are met.

It was revealed that Suarez has recommended Nunez to his former club Barcelona, but the Catalan side opted against signing him from Almeria for as little as £15m.
