Brennan on the fight's key moment
“Everything felt great. I didn’t really get off too much on the feet, landing a couple things here and there – landing a good cross, and then used that into my following setup. Everything felt great – takedown was great, back (take) was great. I was holding his head in place with my own head to hit him so he stopped wiggling so much, but now my forehead kind of hurts.”
Brennan on the fan support
“I sold a good number of tickets. I was originally from here. I didn’t really grow up here, but I was originally from here, so my guys from Frisco all flew out, so I had a good little support system here.”
Brennan on what he wants next
“We’ll see (what’s next). I’m going to take this month … and then as we kind of roll back into things, we’ll start finding dates that look great. I aim for three (fights in 2023), but we’ll see where we are in the year and go from there.”
