Love Island fans have been left confused as one Islander appeared to go “missing” as they “forget” he’s there after bombshell entrance.
It's been a dramatic few days in the ITV2 villa, with more commotion to come as Maya Jama is set to return to the South African villa to dump multiple Islanders in a shocking twist.
But, amid the carnage of the looming mass dumping, the Casa Amor fall out and the subsequent Movie Night debacle, fans have questioned the whereabouts of one of the Islanders as he was no where to be seen recently.
Fans have taken to social media to question where Maxwell Samuda, 23, is as he hasn’t been given much screen time in recent episodes.
They expressed confusion on Twitter, pointing out how Maxwell has barely featured since coming to the main villa from Casa Amor with Olivia Hawkins, 27.
One fan wrote: "I literally forgot Maxwell is even in the villa."
Another viewer said: "I forgot about Maxwell."
"I forgot Maxwell was on the show," a third admitted, while a fourth added: "I keep forgetting about Maxwell."
It’s not the first time the complaint has been made by fans who previously were left wondering whether the Islander was, even still in the villa during an episode last week.
One person asked: "Is Maxwell even in the villa?," Another tweeted last night: "Wait where the hell is Maxwell?" A third questioned on the platform: "Anyone remember Maxwell?"
"Was Maxwell in tonight's episode?" teased another viewer yesterday. Another said: "Wait ... where is Maxwell?" Whilst one viewer asked if he was "playing hide and seek".
As things stand in the famous villa, one couple has gone official - with Ron and Lana becoming the first to say the 'boyfriend' 'girlfriend' words - whilst Tanya and Shaq are stronger than ever after their Casa Amor drama following Martin's exit.
Things seem to also be going well for Jessie and Will, Kai and Sanam, Tom and Samie and Olivia and Maxwell. Casey has now decided he wants to be with bombshell Rosie whilst Claudia is partnered with new bombshell Keanan. All the couples could be at danger of heading home in the huge twist as Maya Jama heads back to the sunshine for a brutal mass dumping.
"It’ll be the most dramatic moment yet when Maya walks in and reveals that several of the cast are heading home," a source told The Sun, "It’s brutal as it’s less than two weeks from the final but everyone is in danger of getting dumped.
"There are some really tough decisions to be made."
The insider added: "If fans thought Casa Amor and Movie Night were must-watch episodes - this will be a whole new level of drama."
