Love Island 2023 viewers were left predicting something major is about to go down, following an announcement from host Maya Jama.
The star revealed on spin-off series Aftersun that she was about to bring "moves" and "drama" to the villa as she heads back to South Africa for filming.
Viewers were quick to point out the host normally heads to the villa when something huge is happening, from dumpings, to Casa Amor.
Maya teased what was in store as she shared the news with viewers on Sunday night, revealing it was going to be huge.
Joking she had received a famous Love Island text, she read out: "Maya, pack your bags, you’re departing for South Africa - things are about to get spicy.
"Hashtag Maya’s making moves, hashtag Jama's bringing drama."
She added: "Not me bringing the drama okay… I cannot wait to get back over there," before joking she might make a move on Tom Clare.
Viewers watching immediately got excited, believing it meant a massive twist was on the cards.
Taking to Twitter, viewers shared their theories about Maya's return and what it would mean for those in the villa.
It seems a dumping and a recoupling could be due given there is one extra girl now, but with Maya on her way fans are convinced there's a twist in store.
One fan said: "Maya only goes in for BIG things - so what's happenin? Too early for Casa or the the club day out!? Right?"
Another shared: "I hope maya having to go back to South Africa is for casa amor tbh these couples are all over the place."
A third fan wrote: "MAYA IS GOING BACK TO THE VILLA THIS WEEK," as a fourth echoed this saying: "Maya is coming, what drama are they gonna stir up for them all."
The comments kept on coming too, with another reading: "Maya is going back to South Africa wonder what the producers have planned."
It comes as Ron Hall was called out by some of his fellow Islanders on Sunday night, before he was seen smirking over the arrival of new girl Samie.
Ellie Spence, Tanya Manhenga and Spencer Wilks are on to "game player" Ron it seems, after they began sharing their thoughts.
Ron is currently paired up with Lana Jenkins, while he recently seemed keen to get to know Tanyel Revan - while also catching the eye of Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown when she joined the villa.
When Ellie debuted in a recent episode, she invited Ron on a date and they hit it off with plenty of flirting.
From that point on, Ron began telling Ellie and Lana different things about his intentions in the villa.
While he told Lana repeatedly that his main focus was her and what they had, he declined to add he was keen to get to know Ellie - despite telling Ellie this.
Eventually it all came out and led to Lana questioning their romance, only for Ron to choose Lana and tell Ellie that he no longer wanted to see if they could work.
Viewers began calling out Ron over his mixed messages and antics, and now some of his Islanders have done the same.
It seems Ellie has got Ron sussed, as she called him "messy" and told other Islanders he was the "biggest game player" in the villa.
Spencer didn't appear to disagree with this, while Tanya was quick to claim that if someone else came in that he liked the look of, Ron's head would quickly spin.
Taking to Twitter after the scene aired, viewers couldn't believe the trio had "sussed" Ron, and were seeing his true games.
Love Island airs every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
