Love Island sends two boys home ahead of shock recoupling as more at risk of exit

Love Island have dumped Spencer and Aaron from the show ahead of a shock recoupling.

Three boys - Aaron, Kai and Spencer - were at risk tonight of leaving, as host Maya Jama returned to the villa with some big news for the Islanders. The public had been voting for their favourite boy, leaving the trio of them vulnerable.

As everyone gathered around the firepit, it was up to the girls to decide who they wanted to send home - and who they wanted to keep in the villa, for now at least, and it was a tough decision for all.

However, tonight, it was revealed that two Islanders would be heading home ahead of a shock recoupling, which will kick off later in tonight's episode as the girls get to choose who they should couple up with.

"Girlies, come with me, let’s have a chat," Maya said ahead of the decision, calling the girls over the other side of the garden for a chat. It was a show first, with the host getting involved in a discussion with the Islanders before they made their decision.

"Alright girls, you need to decide which two boys to send home, what are we thinking?" she told them.

Discussions soon began, with Jessie backing up her fellow Love Island Australia star, as she said: "He really is looking for genuine love."

Ellie then quizzed Tanyel on her and Spencer, as she asked: "How do you feel about Spencer?" with Lana then adding: "Do you feel like you’ve got a connection with him?" Tanyel seemed keen on Spencer.

"Yeah I do, I can’t lie, as soon as I gave him the impression that I liked him, he’s been putting all his effort into me," she admitted.

Olivia was also keen for Kai to stay, with the pair having struck something up with one another in the past couple of days.

"Obviously I don’t want to send Kai home, I think you can all see the smile he’s put on my face the last two days," she admitted before the girls had to make a decision and ultimately decided which two to send home.

*Love Island airs Monday night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
