Love Island 2021 winner Millie Court said she got “super emotional” watching this year’s final following her recent split from Liam Reardon.
Liam and Millie were crowned last year’s winners, beating Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran to win the £50,000 prize.
But last month the couple announced the shock news they had split after just under a year together.
Despite no longer being coupled up herself, Millie was in Majorca for the Love Island final which saw fellow Essex girl Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Italian Stallion Davide Sanclimenti win the show last night.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Millie told her two million followers: “Guys, this is actually making me feel super emotional watching this.”

Giving some insight into how the Love Island winners would have been feeling, she said: “That last day was such a huge rollercoaster of emotions.
“You’re so excited to leave and get back home to your loved ones and experience all the new things together as a couple, but you’re also so sad that the amazing journey has come to an end.”
Sharing a picture of new Love Island winners Ekin-Su and Davide, Millie said “congrats to the gorgeous couple”.
The 26-year-old added: “My absolute pleasure to virtually hand over the crown to the well deserved winners xxx. LOVE ISLAND 2022 OVER AND OUT!”
Millie confirmed the sad news that she and Liam had gone their separate ways in July.
The blonde bombshell said she wanted to set the record straight on their split to avoid any more heartbreak.
"Hi everyone, to avoid any speculation, Liam and I wanted to share with you that we have separated," Millie wrote.
"It's been a tough decision and I am gutted but it's ultimately what is best for us right now.
"Thank you to every single one of you for supporting our relationship.
"Nothing will ever take away from the amazing experience we shared in Love Island and the past year and I wish Liam all the best in everything he does."
Millie ended the emotional statement by writing: "We're both ready for new chapters and I'm excited for what's next. Love, Millie."
Liam released a similar statement writing: "We will both continue to be friends and I will remain as Millie's biggest supporter in all that she does and I know she will always do amazing.
"We're both ready for new chapters and I'm excited for what's next.
"Again I just want to thank you all for supporting us on what's been an incredible journey."
There were rumours Liam had cheated and that was the reason for their split, but Millie was quick to shut these down during an interview with The Sun’s Fabulous magazine.
She said that because of Casa Amor – when Liam kissed Lillie Haynes behind Millie's back – people think he cheated on her during their relationship outside the villa.
Denying the claims, she said: "It's not the case. Nothing happened for us to [break up]. No one cheated.
"It just was a decision that we made because it wasn't right for us. I want to stick up for Liam and have his back. He's not a bad guy."
