Love Island 2021 winner Liam Reardon has reportedly signed up for the next series of Celebs Go Dating, following his high-profile split with Millie Court earlier this summer.
The 23-year-old Welshman is said to have signed up for the E4 reality show just weeks after Millie, 26, confirmed the split on Instagram with an emotional statement.
The Love Island winners made the decision to end their romance after almost a year of dating, but Liam is now said to be turning to Celebs Go Dating for romance.
A source told The Sun: "Liam is going to make an explosive entrance on Celebs Go Dating when he makes his debut several episodes into the new run.
“He may only be recently single but things weren't working out between him and Millie for a while so he feels ready to throw himself back into the dating pool.
“At the end of the day, the show is a bit of fun and he had a great experience on Love Island, so figured why not give reality TV romance another whirl?”
The insider added Liam isn't expecting to find the love of his life, but looking forward to getting back on the dating scene.
Celebs Go Dating producers are said to be “thrilled” to have signed Liam, with the source adding: “Bosses are really happy as Liam is the perfect signing for the show.
"He's popular with the demographic who watch, very easy on the eye and has his fair share of headlines recently, which always helps create some buzz around the series.”
Liam released a statement following his split with Millie, in which he admitted he was “so gutted” that they had called it quits.
The Welsh native penned: “We will both continue to be friends and I will remain as Millie's biggest supporter in all that she does and I know she will always do amazing.
“We're both ready for new chapters and I'm excited for what's next. Again I just want to thank you all for supporting us on what's been an incredible journey.”
Millie, who has been living with Liam since last September, admitted that she wanted to set the record straight on their split in a separate statement.
"Hi everyone, to avoid any speculation Liam and I wanted to share with you that we have separated," Millie penned.
"It's been a tough decision and I am gutted but it's ultimately what is best for us right now.
"Thank you to every single one of you for supporting our relationship.
"Nothing will ever take away from the amazing experience we shared in Love Island and the past year and I wish Liam all the best in everything he does."
Millie ended the emotional statement by writing: "We're both ready for new chapters and I'm excited for what's next. Love, Millie."
The Mirror has contacted Celebs Go Dating for comment, while representatives for Liam declined to comment.
