Love Island's Liam Reardon says people were 'quick to judge' him after Millie Court split

Love Island star Liam Reardon said people were extremely 'quick to judge' after he and Millie Court broke up.

The Welsh hunk won the ITV2 dating show with bombshell Millie in 2021 and almost immediately moved in together to enjoy life as a couple.

However, the two parted ways in July this year, with rumours swirling about him 'cheating' being the cause of the breakup.

Liam set the record straight and insisted he never cheated on the blonde beauty and said the two actually broke up 'amicably'.

"I think, naturally, the man usually gets the bad side of things," he revealed on FUBAR Radio.

"We broke up amicably, we’ve remained friends. Then people made up rumours of me cheating… and people just slated me, thousands of comments saying ‘he’s a scumbag’, ‘she was too good for him anyway’.

"You don’t even know me! I haven’t cheated and you’re just reading something you saw online."

He continued: "People were quick to judge straight away… Even now, people tend to take Millie’s side... Everybody loves Millie."

It isn't the first time Liam has spoken about his relationship with Millie.

In November, the Love Island star said he still had hope the two could somehow work things out.

The star's claims came after he joined the Celebs Go Dating line-up to "take his mind off the break up".

After he was asked whether he would like to get back together with Millie, Liam told OK! that he "hasn't ruled it out".

"I know her morals and what she has, and that is something I would want in someone, in a wife," he said.

"I need to concentrate on myself and if it’s meant to be, we’ll find our way back to each other."

He explained how, despite ITV's best intentions in helping him to be ready for fame, he was "catapulted" into the limelight.

After leaving Love Island, he left Wales and moved to Essex with Millie and said he struggled with his identity.

He went from being a bricklayer to being thrust into the spotlight and said it was 'unnatural' for him.

Liam added: "I didn’t know who I was. It was nothing to do with Millie, she is the perfect girlfriend."
