Love Island ’s Liam Reardon has confirmed he’s back together with Millie Court, and has finally addressed the cheating rumours that have plagued the couple.
The Welsh hunk won the girl of his dreams - and the £50,000 cash prize - when he and Millie were crowned winners of the ITV2 dating show back in 2021.
They happily dated and shared their relationship on social media, with Millie, 26, posting snaps from holidays abroad, as well as updates on the £1 million Essex apartment they bought together.
However, the former bricklayer and his new girlfriend faced intense scrutiny following their arrival back in the UK, and he confessed it was hard getting criticism from fans online who accused him of cheating on Millie.
In an interview with MailOnline, the Welshman addressed the rumours surrounding his infidelity, and insisted he had never cheated on Millie.
“Myself and Millie faced a lot of criticism, especially myself, when we broke up certain things came out about me cheating, which was obviously not true. I have never cheated,” Liam explained.
“If people have something in their heads… you can't try and tell them otherwise, you just have to leave them to think what they think,” he added.
Liam and Millie were spotted kissing after flying home from a holiday to Ibiza, suggesting they had rekindled their romance, and the former Celebs Go Dating star said he was glad to have the ASOS ambassador back in his life.
“People can make their own assumptions and that's up to them, but I will leave you with the fact that we're really good friends. We are friends for now… we are just very good friends,” he teased.
He said keeping his relationship with Millie a secret has been difficult as “someone will see me” and it’s hard to keep his love life under wraps.
“Dating in the public, in restaurants, or walking in the park is not easy because people know you and take photos. If you want to keep things private it is quite difficult,” he shared.
Liam said it was “frustrating” to have people speculate on his and Millie’s relationship just because they didn’t “post a photo together for three days”.
“It is frustrating that people have this expectation of you when at the end of the day you're just a normal guy and girl dating,” he said.
