Love Island host Laura Whitmore hit back at claims she 'humiliated' Remi Lambert on Aftersun.
After Remi got dumped from the villa last week, Remi appeared on Aftersun on Sunday to discuss his departure and time on the show.
The 22-year-old, who is a model and rapper from Manchester, spoke live from the ITV2 villa after only being on the series for a short amount of time.
During his time there, he freestyled for fellow contestants.
Requests for his rapping didn't end there as Laura asked Remi to perform an 'exclusive rap' during his Aftersun interview.
He seemed nervous and began to rap but struggled to perform a final line, leaving viewers cringing.
A fan criticised Laura for asking him to perform and said: "Hope #LoveIsland supports Remi. He looked broken on #Loveislandaftersun.
"Asking him to rap was done in bad faith and to humiliate. I thought @thewhitmore & crew were supposed to ‘BE KIND’."
One user tweeted: "The fact Laura saw this man falling into a depressive episode live on national TV and asked him to rap is so crazy."
"Why did they make Remi freestyle on live TV, as if the man hasn’t suffered enough," another added.
Laura caught wind of the criticism and responded to the claims.
"Remi is a rapper and asked in good faith in advance if he’d rap and prepare something which he did," she clarified.
"Live Telly is nerve-wracking, believe me, so maybe he was a bit nervous but he deserved to have his time. Also I want to make Remi & Afia happen!"

Remi was left devastated when he appeared on the pin-off show after his early exit from the series.
He officially entered the villa last Tuesday - but his time was cut short as he sadly waved goodbye to fellow islanders on Sunday.
It was the girls' turn to pick who they wanted to couple up with in last night's episode.
Remi had formed a flirtatious connection with Indiyah after choosing her for a date upon his entrance, but she decided to go for Ikenna - who she has been coupled up with from the start - instead.
This meant Remi was single and had to be dumped from the island.
Love Island airs at 9pm on ITV2 every day besides Saturdays.
