Love Island 2022 is set to make a return for its eighth season on the evening of Monday June 6th. A first-look video has given a sneak peak at who we can expect to see in the villa in this brand new series.
The video gives fans of the show a deeper look at the first 11 contestants who are set to debut on the new series, with a chance to hear them speak for the first time. The initial line-up was first revealed earlier this week ahead of the the show getting underway on Monday.
The dating programme sees a group of men and women couple together in an exotic villa and then swapping partners until they find the right one for them in the hope of winning £50,000.

Who is in Love Island 2022 cast?
Paige, Luca, Amber, Ikenna, Tasha, Andrew, Gema, Indiya, Davida, Dami, and Liam are the eleven contestants who were confirmed earlier this week, and fans got a chance find out a bit more about them in the Love Island video.
As the series progresses, there will be more contestants who will join the show. For now, though, these eleven contestants will be the starter cast for the dating show.
The teaser video gives a little flavour of the personalities that you can expect from the contestants this year. In the three minute clip, Dami shares that his friends would describe him as ‘the life of the party’, whilst Paige admits ‘I do love going on a little date but it never gets past the first date for me’.
Gemma, who also happens to be the daughter of football legend, Michael Owen, shares in the clip that her biggest ick is ‘a guy who wears socks with trainers.’ She adds, ‘ballerina socks will do’, before chuckling. Liam candidly shares that he ‘falls in love twice a week’.
