Love Island fans were fuming as they were left with massive cliffhanger at the end of Monday night's episode (January 30). Fans saw jaw-dropping drama unfold in the TV villa thanks to the antics of Macclesfield FC footballer Tom Clare.
After a love triangle with Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown and Olivia Hawkins, events in South Africa took another turn as Tom shared a steamy kiss with new girl Ellie Spence on Sunday. The following day he did another U-turn as he told Olivia it was her he was attracted to. "I feel he's one confused boy," she said about her love interest on the ITV dating show.
Viewers reacted in disbelief as Tom, in a heart-to-heart with Olivia, told her that he wasn't "feeling it" with Ellie. "I feel with me and Ellie, like..." he faltered. Olivia prompted: "You're not feeling it?" He told her: "Between you and me, no" before adding: "She's a lovely girl."

Later a bombshell was dropped as fellow Islander Will Young spilled the tea on the secret kiss. Will told Jessie Wynter, Tanya Manhenga and Shaq Muhammad that Ellie had pulled him aside to tell him about the kiss she had shared with Tom on the terrace.
Tanya then spread the gossip, confiding in Zara, and Zara immediately went on a mission to tell Olivia. The episode ended with Zara racing up the stairs pursued by Tanya.
"How am I going to sut on this bad boy information?" Zara asked. "I'm telling Liv. This girl needs to know. Girl power man, bed's not even cold bro I'm still in it. He's in the doghouse."
As they opened the door to the terrace, Tanya could be heard saying "Olivia we need you right now" and Olivia looked up in shock at them bursting in.
@Mjsspiderlord cheered on Twitter: "THE DRAMA IVE BE WAIT FOR HAS ARRIVED." And @l43chant3louis3 shouted: "LIGHT IT UP ZARAAAA LOOOOOOL."
But other viewers noticed a regular part of the ITV dating contest was missing - the preview of tomorrow night's drama, leaving them on an even bigger cliffhanger.
@carlapepinn yelled: "THE CLIFFHANGER WITH NO PREVIEW?!?!" @cassidy_bb asked: "ARE YOU JOKING?!" And @Shaaans__ complained: "And they didnt give preview of tomorrow."
@lytsrik demanded: "Excuse me, where’s my 'tomorrow night' preview? YOU CANT DO THAT." @_ellalcfcv2 said: "I know they didn't just end it there without a preview." And @sanjisbaby cried: "NO PREVIEW FOR THE NEXT EPISODE NOOOOOOOOOO."
