Love Island fans were not happy after tonight's episode as Tanya made a public declaration to Shaq - in front of Martin and the rest of the islanders, resulting in #PoorMartin to be trending on Twitter.
Tanya - who is currently coupled up with Martin after bringing him back from Casa Amor - stood up in front of the islanders tonight after their party and made an announcement about her current situation.
Earlier in the episode, viewers could see Tanya sneaking out of bed with Martin to "go to the bathroom"' before she slipped in beside Shaq, who was sleeping alone in the room downstairs.
Tanya woke him up, giving him a cuddle before leaning in for a kiss, leaving fans furious.
And earlier in the day she had a chat with Martin who said he felt like a 'stupid boy' and like she wasn't really interested in him.
However, tonight after the islanders enjoyed a party with DJ Jax Jones and Calum Scott, Tanya got up and made an announcement to Shaq in front of her fellow islanders.
She said: "I'm saying this in front of everyone because I came in with Martin in front of everyone and I can't imagine the embarrassment that you felt and the hurt that you felt and how disappointed you were in me, I'm so sorry for embarrassing you and making you feel hurt."
She added: "Not speaking to you all those days has been so hard and like being in bed and you not there has been really hard for me.
"And even though it wasn't the best situation bringing Martin back - sorry Martin - it has made me realise that I don't want anyone else."
She went on to say that she and Martin ended things mutually and revealed to everyone that she sneaked down to Shaq and kissed him in the night.
"I just want you to know from the bottom of my heart that I love you so much. I'm so so sorry babe."
Tanya and Shaq embrace and the episode ended, but fans took to Twitter to express their anger on how Martin was treated.
One wrote: "ermmm not Tanya apologising for embarrassing Shaq whilst EMBARRASSING Martin instead???? She literally has no thoughts about other peoples feelings @LoveIsland #loveIsland."
Another added: "Tanya how did you go from public romantic apology for Shaq to PUBLICLY disrespecting Martin…."
While one wrote: "Me during that speech in front of Poor Martin. I’m actually cringing so bad. Cute lil speech for Shaq but why in front of everyone and just to embarrass Martin like that #LoveIsland #LoveIslandUK."
Another said: "Poor Martin, I’m sorry but the way she snuck shaq a kiss and then announced it to the the guy??? INFRONT OF EVERYONE #loveIsland."
