Love Island applications open for new series - Everything you need to know

ITV2 are looking for vibrant singles from across Scotland who want to head to the sun, in search of love! The chosen cast will spend time in a luxury villa, getting to know one another, but to remain in paradise they must win the hearts of the public and their fellow Islanders who ultimately decide their fate on Love Island.

The ITV2 dating programme is extremely popular with the younger generation, with recouplings, dumpings and movie nights the highlight of their summer. So, do you think you have what it takes to find love in the baking sun?

Are there any restrictions to applying for Love Island?

Applicants for Love Island must be 18 years of age or over. Other than that, you could be anything from a fishmonger, to a fitness fanatic, to just plain Italian (we see you Davide).

How do I apply for Love Island?

You can apply by clicking the link here. The company will require you to provide:

  • Full name
  • Age
  • Address
  • Email address
  • Headshot photo
  • Full length photo
  • Three optional extra photos
  • Occupation
  • Phone number
  • Social media handles

You will also be asked to send in a short video, in landscape, chatting about yourself and what makes you suitable for the show. Other details include gender, sexuality, and details about your current job.

Applications are now open here via the Love Island website. The current series of Love Island is currently on air, with the next episode available on Friday, July 15 at 9pm on ITV2.
