Lottery jackpot of £11.9m rolls down after nobody matches all six numbers

No-one matched all six main Lottery numbers on Saturday so the £11.9m Must Be Won jackpot boosted prizes for other winners.

Around 110,597 people won £78, instead of the usual £30, for matching three numbers and 1,144,797 ticket-holders had a £5 prize added to their free Lucky Dip ticket for matching two numbers. The main numbers were 13, 22, 39, 46, 54 and 59 and the bonus ball was 58.

Set of balls six and draw machine Guinevere were used. Nobody matched five main numbers and the bonus ball but 57 tickets matched five main numbers to win £7,313 while 4,583 matched four numbers for a £235 prize.

Nobody won the Lotto Hotpicks jackpot. The draw uses the same numbers as the main draw. One ticket scooped £500,000 in the Thunderball draw by matching the main numbers 19, 20, 25, 28 and 31 plus the Thunderball 14.

Andy Carter, senior winners' advisor at The National Lottery, said: "What an exciting night for more than 1.1 million Lotto players who have each won £5 plus a free Lucky Dip for matching just two main numbers in Saturday night's whopping £11.9m Lotto 'Must Be Won' draw.

"On top of this, 110,597 ticket-holders each scooped £78, instead of £30, for matching just three main numbers. As no ticket-holder won the jackpot, the prize is shared between all the other winners."
