Lorry driver posed as dead neighbour for two years to steal £60,000 from life savings

A lorry driver posed as his dead neighbour for more than two years in order to steal £60,000 of his cash and life savings.

Dave Thompson had 'unofficially cared' for David Traylen for almost two decades until his death at 78-years-old.

Soon after this, Thompson, 54, began pretending to be his dead friend so that he could access his cash, Hull Live reports.
