Loose Women viewers were in tears after Ruth Langsford cried on air as the panel discussed a difficult subject.
The Loose ladies were discussing how people cope with the death of their beloved pets on Tuesday's programme (March 28). They also spoke about recent upsetting scenes on Coronation Street, in which Evelyn Plummer was forced to have her greyhound Cerberus put to sleep after he fell seriously ill.
Amid the discussion, Ruth began to tear up, admitting: "Oh I can't bear it!" Coleen Nolan added: "Oh my god, you're actually going to cry - it's not even your dog!" Ruth responded: "I know!" as Coleen interjected: "It's acting!"

"I know, but you know, I'm a massive Corrie fan... Oh god," Ruth said, as she teared up more. "That's because you're thinking of Maggie," Coleen added.
Maggie is Ruth and husband Eammon's adorable rescue dog. The programme showed a photo of the fluffy, black, pointy-eared hound as Ruth explained: "Little Maggie is probably about 13 [years old]."
Ruth sniffled, grabbed a tissue and wiped her eyes as she began to cry. "Oh god... Look at her there, she's a bit grey!" The other Loose Women suggested the panel discuss another matter instead.
Viewers took to Twitter to share their sympathy with Ruth, with many admitting seeing Ruth cry had them in tears.
