Denise Welch has opened up on the hilarious comment ex husband Tim Healy made to a nurse, after she gave birth to their eldest son Matt, with the Loose Women star having her colleagues in hysterics as she revealed exactly what the Auf Wiedersehen, Pet star said.
Denise sat on the panel of the ITV lunchtime show when it returned for its first episode of a new week on Monday, as she joined co-stars Christine Lampard, Brenda Edwards and Linda Robson in the studio. And the first topic up for discussion on Loose Women's latest instalment was how sentimental the panel were about their possessions.
Presenter Christine mentioned that her parents used to record every TV show she'd appeared on, with Denise also saying she was shocked when clearing out her dad Vin's house, after his death in 2021, to find just how many newspaper cuttings of her he'd held onto over the years.

Giving her input to the conversation, Linda said she held onto 'everything' including her children's teeth, even admitting to keeping a bit of umbilical cords. That prompted Denise to relive what happened when she gave birth to Matt, lead singer of The 1975, at a London hospital in 1989.
She explained: "I had Matthew in a very, very trendy London hospital many, many years ago; because I was going NHS and it was disaster where I was going, so I did go privately. And it was very trendy right-on natural birth hospital and as I gave birth after a long labour they went 'Would you like to keep the placenta Mrs Healy?' as I was the time and Tim went 'Na we'll just tak' the bairn thanks."
Denise and Tim were both very proud parents on Sunday night, when they were in the crowd at London's Finsbury Park, to see The 1975 play one of their biggest gigs of their career to date.
