Coleen Nolan has revealed a touching gesture made by her sister Linda which made her 'put life into perspective'. The Loose Women panelist said she was moved by her sister's request over the weekend, which she made after being diagnosed with breast cancer.
Linda, who has sold more than 30 million records with her sisters in the hit band The Nolans, shared the sad news back in March that she has been told her cancer has spread to her brain. The singer was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in 2005 but got the all-clear in 2006.
Then in 2017, her cancer returned in her hip and spread to her liver in 2020. She then sadly discovered the cancer had spread to her brain earlier this year. Describing her new diagnosis as "very frightening", Linda acknowledged that there "isn’t much help for brain cancer", but she is going to undergo radiotherapy.

"I’m positive, I’m not giving up," she said whilst being interviewed on Good Morning Britain back in March, adding that treatment means she's going to end up losing her hair for a fourth time. But she did laugh when she told how one of her sisters joked that she now has some 'nice wigs' following her previous cancer treatment.
Coleen revealed how her sister is making every day count as she asked for the whole family to spend some days away together this weekend, reports the Echo.
The Loose Women panelist told her 330,000 followers on Instagram: "About 24 of us all went away for three nights because my sister Linda phoned us all up and said, 'I want us all to be together for a weekend' to make memories.
"It really put life into perspective. The first thing I thought was 'Oh I don't think I can I'm working. There was loads of people saying they can't take the time off.
Coleen then said: "And then we all decided that life's too short and it is about making memories. And if we don't take that time, we wouldn't have memories later down the line."
Coleen was concerned it could be a sad weekend but was delighted as she revealed the family had the best time. She added: "We had the best weekend, and it was so much fun for us all to reminisce and be with the younger kids.
"So I'd just like to say to you when you think you don't have time, just make time, because you don't know how much time you've got left. Love you all."
Fans flooded the comments with supportive comments after the update.
