Loose Women's Coleen Nolan confronts family's Father's Day 'turmoil' on ITV show

Coleen Nolan made a candid admission about how tough Father's Day is for her and her family, admitting she feels conflicted over whether she should mark the occasion every year, due to her late dad abusing her sister.

Coleen was back on the panel of the ITV show on Monday, joining host Ruth Langsford and co-stars Janet Street-Porter for the lunchtime programme's first edition of a new week. Ruth began the show by talking about Father's Day, telling her colleague that she has found it 'bittersweet' ever since her dad passed away.

The Loose Women presenter said it really warmed her heart to see all the photos and comments from people celebrating their dads on Sunday, while missing her own dad at the same time and it was then that Coleen interjected to say that every year she feels torn over how she should feel about Father's day,. given her family history.
