The Washington Commanders open the 2023 season home at FedEx Field for the fourth consecutive season with the Arizona Cardinals coming to town. The Cardinals finished last season with a 4-13 record. Arizona has a new head coach in former Eagles defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon.
Washington’s 2023 schedule features just one prime-time game: Week 5 at home against the Chicago Bears. Interestingly enough, the two teams played in Week 6 on Thursday Night Football last season.
The Commanders have three trips West, the first of which is Week 2 at Denver.
Washington’s four games against the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles are all 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff times. However, Washington plays at Dallas on Thanksgiving and hosts the Cowboys in the regular-season finale again. The NFL has left that game open as a flex possibility.
Here’s the complete Commanders’ 2023 schedule.
