London borough slammed over plans to create new £190,000 council role

A London council’s move to create a new assistant chief executive role – with a salary of up to £190,000 – has been slammed by opposition councillors.

The Labour group leader said he was “seriously concerned” about the process, as well as the cost, of the recruitment to Enfield Council.
