Local radio presenter dies whilst live on air as 'devastated' colleagues pay tribute

Colleagues of a local radio presenter who died whilst live on air have been left "devastated" following his sudden death.

Tim Gough, 55, died from a suspected heart attack at 7.50am on Monday while presenting the GenX Radio Suffolk breakfast show.

He was broadcasting from his home in Lackford in the west of the county. The station said in a statement: “It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to inform you, our dear friend and breakfast host Tim Gough passed away this morning whilst presenting his programme.
