With their season all but over, Liverpool's interest is turning towards the summer transfer window, with a major squad rebuild expected.
One man who will not be part of that rebuild is Jude Bellingham, with the Reds pulling out of the race for the midfielder. The Reds are eyeing a big overhaul with multiple additions expected - but they have already missed out on Konrad Laimer.
Jurgen Klopp was warned it will take a huge bid to sign the highly-rated Alex Scott from Bristol City after monitoring him, whilst they are also keeping a close eye on Red Bull Salzburg starlet Luka Sucic.
Here, Mirror Football rounds up the latest Liverpool transfer news.
Reds miss out on Bellingham alternative
Liverpool have missed out on Konrad Laimer, who they had been lining up as an alternative to Jude Bellingham. The Reds pulled out of the race to sign Bellingham earlier this week and are now exploring alternative options.
Laimer was one of them, with his contract at RB Leipzig set to expire at the end of the season. But rather than the Reds, he is now expected to become Thomas Tuchel's first signing at Bayern Munich.
The midfielder has snubbed interest from both Liverpool and Chelsea to move to Leipzig's Bundesliga rivals. The move will be a blow for Reds boss Jurgen Klopp as he looks to revamp his midfield options.

Klopp sent transfer warning
Jurgen Klopp has been warned it will take a "hell of a bid" for Liverpool to sign Alex Scott in the summer window. Scott has starred at Bristol City and was named as their young player of the year last season.
His performances have attracted the eye of the Reds, with head of recruitment Dave Fallows and chief scout Barry Hunter recently scouting the 19-year-old. But Robins boss Nigel Pearson has poured cold water on their chances of signing him on the cheap.
He said: "Alex Scott for instance as a point of conversation, every player has a price," said Pearson. "It will have to be one hell of a bid for him to go. I can assure you that Steve (Lansdown, the Bristol City majority shareholder), he doesn't want to sell players for the sake of it. It's not about that."

Liverpool eye Salzburg starlet
Liverpool are keeping a close eye on Red Bull Salzburg starlet Luka Sucic as they desperately scramble around for midfield recruits ahead of next season.
Jurgen Klopp intends to stage a dramatic rebuild in the centre of the park this summer after what has been a dire campaign at Anfield. The German has struggled to field a consistent midfield trio - a problem that is set to worsen in just a few months’ time.
The Reds have been linked with a move for the Croatian in the past, whilst Sky Sports suggest that the 20-year-old is currently being assessed ahead of a potential swoop. Sucic began his career with Austrian side Liefering before moving to Salzburg in the summer of 2020.
