A Liverpool city centre restaurant has been added to the prestigious Michelin Guide.
While the city's restaurants were again overlooked by the guide back in February as it announced the list of new stars, one restaurant has now been added to the guide in a new update. The French-based group who oversee the awarding of the prestigious accolade gave out 19 awards to establishments across the UK earlier this year- but none in Liverpool.
Now, Duke Street’s Barnacle has been added to the guide after Michelin inspectors revealed some of their favourite new additions. These newly recommended restaurants feature both on the Michelin website and the app.
