Liverpool have moved to within one point of Manchester United in fourth after beating Brentford 1-0 on Saturday evening.
Mohamed Salah's 100th goal at Anfield was enough to give Jurgen Klopp's side the victory. The Reds have now won six consecutive Premier League games, although catching Man Utd will be difficult given Erik ten Hag's team have two games in hand.
Nevertheless, Liverpool are starting to look like title candidates once again after a difficult campaign, giving them hope for next season. Here is the best of the reaction from Saturday evening's game, including Jamie Carragher's verdict on Salah's achievement.
Carragher praises Salah
Liverpool hero Jamie Carragher was full of praise for Salah after his 100th Anfield goal.
The club legend told Sky Sports: "This club are very lucky to have [had] some great goalscorers in the past... and I think when Mo Salah eventually stops playing for the club, he goes right in there as one of the top players to have ever played for the team.
"I think he goes in an all-time Liverpool XI, and you could argue he's in the top five or six players to have ever played for the club. His volume of games, goals and assists is right up there with some of the greatest players we've ever seen in the history of this club."

Salah now has 30 goals for Liverpool this season. Although the Egyptian is enjoying another vintage campaign, the same can't be said about Darwin Nunez after he missed a sitter against Brentford. As Mirror Football's Mark Jones protests, Nunez needs to do more.

Fans boo national anthem
Liverpool supporters booed the national anthem ahead of Saturday evening's game. 'God Save The King' was played at Anfield to mark the coronation of King Charles III, which happened earlier on Saturday. All Premier League clubs were "strongly advised" to do so.
People have a right to protest against the monarchy. Liverpool fans were expected to boo the national anthem after chants against the coronation were heard during their recent game against Fulham. "You can stick your coronation up your a***", chanted some fans.

Europa League push urged
Liverpool icon Robbie Fowler has urged Liverpool to do all they can to win the Europa League if they fail to qualify for the Champions League. Fowler scored in their UEFA Cup (now known as the Europa League) final win against Spanish side Alaves 22 years ago.
In his Mirror Football column, Fowler wrote: "I scored a goal in a European final - the UEFA Cup then - and lifted the trophy, and no one will ever take that away from me. It was one of the great nights in my old club’s history, and one of the great finals too."
Fowler added: "All I can say is, that night in Dortmund when we won the UEFA Cup meant so much to me, and to Steven Gerrard, Michael Owen, Jamie Carragher and the rest too. It’s a European competition and the fans should be delighted if they get there."
