Liverpool fans were reportedly "dancing in the aisles" after hearing about Real Madrid's dramatic comeback against Manchester City on Wednesday evening.
Real winger Rodrygo scored two last-minute goals to send the Champions League tie into extra-time, where Karim Benzema found a winner. The result means the Spanish giants will face Liverpool in the final, which takes place in Paris on May 28.
Many Reds fans are delighted with the news, as it gives them the opportunity avenge their 3-1 defeat to Real in the Champions League final in Kyiv four years ago. They've also avoided yet another clash with Premier League title rivals City.
And, according to the Liverpool ECHO, Reds fans were dancing on a RyanAir plane when they heard news of Real's win. Many supporters were returning home from Spain after Liverpool's 5-2 aggregate win against Villarreal in the other semi-final on Tuesday.
The fans, on a delayed flight home, were also said to cheering, signing and high-fiving each other. "F*** off lad, are you messing?" said one supporter on hearing the news.
The flight is believed to have took off just after Riyad Mahrez scored to give City a two-goal cushion against the Spanish giants. The news of Real's comeback started filtering through on the plane when some fans managed to pick up a signal.

Rumours of Real's victory were eventually confirmed when the flight landed in Manchester - much to relief of those Liverpool fans. One said: "You play Real Madrid in Champions League finals! You don’t play Manchester City in the biggest game in football."
Another tweeted: "Genuinely no better way to have experienced that City result than being on a delayed flight back from Valencia that took off at 1-0 and finding out in stages via a series of rumours and dodgy looking screenshots off random lads' phones."
Despite the optimism, Reds fans aren't expecting an easy game. "We've got to be careful of their midfield, you know," said one flyer. "[Luka] Modric and [Toni] Kroos. Then there's Benzema. He's quality. And I'd worried about Vinicius up against Trent [Alexander-Arnold]."
And Liverpool fans aren't the only ones relishing a final against Real. Mohamed Salah - who was forced out of the 2018 final after picking up a shoulder injury - admitted he wanted to face the Spanish giants following Tuesday evening's game.
"I want to play Madrid," the Egyptian told BT Sport. "I have to be honest. City are a really tough team, we play against them a few times this season. But if you ask me personally I would prefer Madrid."
Liverpool will win their seventh European Cup if they beat Real in this month's final. Real have won the most European Cups - 13, to be precise - while AC Milan are second on the list with seven. Bayern Munich have also won six European Cups.
