Lisa Marie Presley's ex-husband granted custody of twins leaving Riley Keough 'furious'

Lisa Marie Presley's ex-husband Michael Lockwood has been granted full custody of their twin daughters Harper and Finley, according to reports.

Riley Keough is said to be "furious" by the decision and fears she is "losing" her half sisters to an "outsider".

Her feud with grandmother Priscilla Presley seems to have worsened following the child custody battle, after Priscilla reportedly didn't raise any objections to Michael getting full custody of the 14-year-olds.

A court hearing at Los Angeles family court ended the seven-year child custody battle between Lisa Marie and her ex-husband.

Lisa Marie died on January 12 at the age of 54 after a cardiac arrest. She had 60 percent custody of the twins at the time of her death.

Judicial assistant Gus Morales told the Daily Mail that Tuesday's court hearing acknowledged that Michael, who was not at the hearing, now has "de facto" full custody of his daughters.

Under California law, when one parent dies, the other retains full custody, unless the court finds them to be an unfit parent.

Riley and Priscilla had already been engaged in a bitter legal battle over Lisa Marie's trust after an amendment removed Priscilla as trustee and replaced her with Riley.

As part of the 2016 amendment, Priscilla and Lisa Marie's former business manager, Barry Siegel, were removed as trust managers - and control given to her eldest children, Riley and Benjamin Keough.

Tragically, Benjamin died by suicide at the age of 27 in 2020.

Priscilla filed a petition to question the "authenticity and validity" of the trust, claiming Lisa Marie's signature is "inconsistent".

She also claimed she was not aware Lisa Marie had changed the trust in 2016 until after her daughter passed away.

If Priscilla's petition is successful, it could see her and Riley made co-trustees over Lisa Marie's estate, which could cause more disagreements.

To make family matters worse, Michael is said to be siding with Priscilla over Lisa Marie's trust, which could see him go against Riley in court.

The 61-year-old filed to represent Harper and Finley in an upcoming court hearing last week.

He wants to represent the interests of his daughters in a hearing which involves Lisa Marie's multi-million dollar trust.

The musician is asking a judge to appoint him "guardian ad litem" which grants him the authority to speak on behalf of his daughters.

At the time of her death, Lisa Marie had two life insurance policies, one for $25 million and another one for $10 million.

Her will also contains the rights to the Graceland mansion and a 15 percent stake in Elvis Presley Enterprises.
