Lisa Marie Presley's ex-husband Danny Keough fought to save her life before she tragically passed away.
The musician reportedly performed CPR on his former wife in their home as he waited for paramedics to arrive after she was found unresponsive having collapsed.
Danny – who still lived with Lisa Marie despite their split – was also heard taking over the 911 call from their housekeeper after she struggled to give first responders the details they needed to reach the property.
Her housekeeper called 911 after finding Lisa Marie's body on the floor of her home in the Calabasas neighbourhood of Los Angeles.
During the 911 phone call, the housekeeper seemed distraught as she struggled to direct paramedics to the property.
"What’s the address of your emergency?," a police operator asked during the call, which was obtained by the New York Post.
After the housekeeper struggled to get her words out, the responder asked: "Ma’am, is there someone else there with you right now?"
They then asked if there was someone the housekeeper could pass the phone to, with Danny, 58, then taking over the conversation.
The operator was heard reassuring him as he explained: "Sir, listen, paramedics are already on the way," before asking if there was any security they would need to pass.
Danny responded: "No, there’s a security gate in the neighbourhood, but they’ll just let them through," before confirming to the operator that the paramedics had arrived.
Lisa Marie died on January 12 at the age of 54 after suffering two cardiac arrests with medics unable to save her, despite their best efforts.
Danny had reportedly just returned home from dropping Lisa Marie's twins Finley and Harper, 14, to school when the tragedy occurred.
The girls have been staying with their father Michael Lockwood since their mother died and he is now said to have been granted full custody of the twins.
Danny has been living with Lisa Marie for quite some time after their son Benjamin Keough tragically ended his own life over two years ago in 2020.
The former couple were married between 1988 and 1994 and shared children Riley, 33, and Benjamin, who was 27 when he passed away in July 2020.
Lisa Marie was also married to pop star Michael Jackson between 1994 to 1996, actor Nicolas Cage from 2002 until 2004, and most recently to Michael who she wed in 2006, with them separating in 2021.
Lisa Marie will be laid to rest at her father's Memphis mansion Graceland, next to Benjamin.
