Minnesota sends a 2023 second-round pick and 2024 third-round pick to Detroit for Hockenson, a 2023 fourth-round pick, and a 2024 conditional fourth-round pick.
The Lions and Vikings play their second game on Dec. 11 at Ford Field.
Hockenson had 3 receptions for 18 yards and a TD against his new team in Week 3.
He has 26 catches, including 3 TDs, for 395 yards in 2022.
Hockenson was chosen No. 8 overall by the Lions out of Iowa in the 2019 draft.
