The jury deciding Lindsay Clancy's fate remained deadlocked Tuesday, with jurors telling Plymouth Superior Court Judge William Sullivan they were unable to reach a unanimous verdict after four days of deliberations. The judge instructed them to continue deliberating, with the panel expected back Wednesday.
Clancy, 36, is accused of killing her three children, Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months, at the family's Duxbury, Massachusetts, home in January 2023. She has admitted strangling the children before attempting suicide. Her defence argues that she was suffering from postpartum psychosis and possibly undiagnosed bipolar disorder, while prosecutors say she understood her actions and deliberately carried out the killings.
