The jury in Lindsay Clancy's murder trial has reported being deadlocked for a second time, moving the case closer to a possible mistrial. Jurors completed a fifth day of deliberations on Wednesday without reaching a unanimous verdict after nearly 30 hours of discussions.
Plymouth County Superior Court Judge William Sullivan instructed them to reconsider their positions without abandoning sincerely held beliefs merely to reach an agreement. Deliberations were expected to resume on Thursday.
