Ley delivers parting shot as hotly contested seat opens

The opposition's first female leader has taken a swipe at her successor Angus Taylor, who faces the challenge of replacing her in a by-election triggered by her resignation.

The regional NSW seat of Farrer will open up after Sussan Ley's formal resignation, which is expected to be a hotly contested four-way battle.
