Few people will be cheering harder for Leona Maguire to win her maiden major title than pop star Niall Horan.
Maguire takes a one-shot lead heading into the final round of the KPMG Women's PGA Championship on Sunday.
The 28-year-old is bidding to become a major champion just one week after winning her second title on the LPGA Tour.

And she will have the support of the whole of the island, not least from the former One Direction singer.
As well as an avid golf fan, Horan founded Modest Golf Management whose roster of professional stars include Tyrell Hatton, Brendan Lawlor and Maguire.
Horan's golf management company signed Maguire in 2018 and the pair have been friends ever since.
She told RSVP Live: "Niall’s a big golfer and golf fan himself. It’s lovely to see him getting excited about growing and investing in the game.
"Obviously I’ve been a part of his management company since I turned professional and he’s always been a great support and friend to me over the past few years.
"And he’s a good golfer in his own right. He always travels with his golf clubs.
"We’ve gotten a few games in together over the years and yeah he’s always been a great supporter of my career."
Horan said on social media on Saturday that he would be a keen observer as Maguire bids to become the first Irish woman to a major championship.
The Cavan native tees up in the final group alongside her friend and Northern Irish golfer Stephanie Meadow.
