The Mexico national team produced a lackluster performance and could only muster a 1–1 draw with Peru at Sports Illustrated Stadium on Tuesday night.

Rafael Márquez’s decided to deploy a completely different lineup to the one that performed well against Colombia last time out. The result? Mexico played its worst 45 minutes of the entire calendar year in the first half against Peru.
