The Kansas City Chiefs are coming off a season of offensive struggles that have rarely been seen in the Patrick Mahomes era.
Between a receiving corps that led the league in dropped passes and an offensive line that was among the most penalized in the NFL, there were only a handful of bright spots on the Chiefs’ offense last year.
Two players who always played at the top of their game were quarterback Patrick Mahomes and tight end Travis Kelce who became the only quarterback-receiver duo in the NFL to join the ’99 Club’ in EA Sports’ ‘Madden 25’, which is set to come out in two weeks.
This morning, EA Sports announced that Mahomes will receive his fourth 99 overall rating in the last five years while Kelce, whose rating was announced yesterday, will receive his fifth straight 99 rating.

The duo is expected to continue dominating opponents in 2024 as they chase a third straight Super Bowl victory, a feat that has never been accomplished in NFL history.
