Graeme Souness believes that the attitude of Leeds United supporters could end up forcing the board into making a managerial change. Jesse Marsch is coming under increasing pressure at Elland Road after a poor run of results that has brought just two points from eight matches.
Supporters have already started to grow inpatient with the Leeds boss, with some sections of Elland Road chanting, 'you're getting sacked in the morning' during Sunday's 3-2 defeat to Fulham. Despite that, it appears as though the board at Leeds are willing to give Marsch more time to turn it around, with a trip to Liverpool up next.
Speaking on talkSPORT, though, Souness thinks that the recent show of faith from the hierarchy can only last so long if supporters at matches continue to make their feelings clear that a change is necessary.

He said: "They made the change, whoever was going to get that job, would find it difficult. He kept them up and then it's been a poor start to the season so the pressure is on. Leeds are a fabulous football club, been in the doldrums for a very long time. A hard place, when I was in football as a player, to go and dig a result out.
"It's a hostile atmosphere, hostile crowd, they got after you but right now they are in trouble. What dictates the situation, not just at Leeds but anywhere, the board can come out and say they are right behind the manager, vote of confidence but they have to say that at that given time.
"What dictates the outcome is the crowd's attitude to it. If they are continuously singing 'you're getting sacked in the morning', booing, signs up in the crowd, Bielsa chants, it just adds to the pressure. Sometimes the managers need saving from themselves.
"Marsch sounds like a good guy, he's frosty, aggressive and you need a bit of that to survive in professional sport but I am not sure that's enough for him."
