Here are the latest Leeds United headlines on Saturday, June 3.
49ers talks 'not affected' by Elland Road claim
Leeds United's ownership issues have dominated the landscape this week, with Thursday's report that chairman Andrea Radrizzani's plan to use Elland Road as collateral for his takeover of Sampdoria causing ruptions among the fanbase.
The Athletic reported that a proposal to use Leeds' ground to secure a €30m loan to aid the takeover was drawn up in a move which blindsided other Whites board members, but no charge had been registered on Companies House.

Now, according to The Times, talks between 49ers Enterprises and Radrizzani are continuing and 'will not be affected' by this latest development, with the report adding that relegation 'has not dampened' the 49ers' desire to complete their long-mooted takeover.
Rodrigo's rich reward neatly offers him his next move with Leeds United
Nineteen months after his last Spain appearance, Leeds United’s number 19 is back in from the cold with his declared nation. Rodrigo has been richly rewarded for his best campaign with the Whites since arriving in 2020.
The 32-year-old’s 15 goals in 35 appearances were among the few aspects in United’s season that probably staved off relegation until the final day. Perhaps his goals may have kept Leeds up if he hadn’t been missing for 42 days with an ankle injury.
The call from Luis de la Fuente, just five days after United’s relegation from the Premier League, strikes a symbolic note for where the striker is at in his career. Despite battling through two challenging years with Leeds and then watching Spain squads come and go for more than 18 months, Rodrigo found something within himself to keep fighting and deliver in what was a poor club side.
Upcoming French manager Regis Le Bris profiled amid links with Leeds United
Leeds United will once again begin their search for a new manager for the third time in just five months after parting company with Sam Allardyce. The 68-year-old was on a short term deal until the end of the season but won't be staying at Leeds United who're looking for a long-term approach.
Like any managerial search, there are a few left-field names that have been linked with the vacant position. Lorient manager Regis Le Bris is the latest name to be linked with a move to Elland Road this summer, despite having just one season in professional management.
Reports the Sun linked the 47-year-old former midfielder with Leeds this summer, alongside current Luton Town boss Rob Edwards. Both managers have a relatively short CV but unlike Edwards, we know very little about Le Bris this side of the English Channel.
