Leeds United face Premier League competition for Swansea City midfielder Flynn Downes

Flynn Downes Swansea Leeds United EPL Swans Swansea City Kalvin Phillips Crystal Palace Southampton Whites

Leeds United are set to face Premier League competition for Swansea City midfielder Flynn Downes. The Whites were reported earlier this year to be interested in signing the 23-year-old who has plenty of suitors.

WalesOnline understand Southampton, Wolves and Crystal Palace are also interested in the midfielder this summer who impressed for Swansea in the Championship last season.

Swansea were expecting interest this summer in Downes and striker Joel Piroe following their stellar Championship campaigns. Should the Swans sell one of their two stars, it would make it more likely they would retain the other with them having less of a need to sell.
