Leeds United will be looking to stretch their unbeaten run to four matches when they travel to Watford on Saturday afternoon. The Whites have picked up seven points from a possible nine available which has taken them closer to securing their Premier League survival.
Meanwhile, opponents Watford will be keen to give themselves half a chance of staying up and a win could take them outside the bottom three if results go their way. They currently sit two and three points behind Burnley and Everton respectively but have played one more game than both of those teams.
However, Leeds could be dragged further back in the mire should the Hornets come out on top in what has been billed as a 'six-pointer' at Vicarage Road. So, with that in mind, here is a look at the best and worst-case scenarios from this weekend's set of fixtures.

Best case
Of course, the best-case scenario for Leeds this weekend would be if they are to secure three points. However, the Whites do play after Everton, meaning they are likely to know the outcome of the Toffees' game against Manchester United before they take to the field of play.
Leeds can only move up one position into 15th with a victory, proving that Newcastle United fail to beat Wolverhampton Wanders in the Friday Night Football. The Whites could, theoretically, leapfrog Brentford but would need a 23 goal-swing to achieve that feat which has never been done in Premier League history.
Everton's game against the Red Devils is poised to have a major impact on the Whites and Leeds could do with Ralf Rangnick's side coming away with all three points in the early Saturday kick-off. Another relegation rival, Burnley, have the easiest game on paper this weekend when they make the trip to rock bottom Norwich City on Sunday.
The sides in and around the foot of the division will be watching that game closely to see the outcome, with Leeds, Everton and Watford all praying for a Norwich win or a draw. Although the Canaries can still mathematically get out of trouble, it is looking unlikely given their run of fixtures and form at this moment in time.
Worst case
However, in a battle to avoid the drop, things are never that easy and therefore the worst-case scenario this weekend would be a first defeat in four for Leeds. If that it the case, the Whites could end gameweek 32 just three points above the relegation zone.
This would mean that Watford close the gap on the Whites to five points with a game in hand, while victories for Burnley and Everton could put Leeds right back into the dogfight. With Sean Dyche's men against Norwich and the Toffees facing an out of form Man United side at home, a win for both of them isn't beyond the realms of possibility.
