“It is impossible for me not to be talking about the Arctics and Bring Me as I’m a Yorkshire lad,” he proudly said. “I would say it is definitely the biggest day in Yorkshire’s musical history.
“Two Yorkshire bands headlining a Yorkshire festival - it is never going to get better than that. It is unbelievable.”
The festival boss is delighted to see the journey the two acts have been on. He said: “It is a delight to see it. It is not really anything to do with me. It is to do with the bands. They are the ones getting on stage, getting fans to believe in them and convincing me to believe in them.”
