LeBron James Jr follows in father's footsteps after signing Nike deal before NBA career

LeBron James' son has followed in his father's footsteps after signing a deal with sportswear giants Nike. The 18-year-old is currently in his final year of high school in Chatsworth, California, before he makes his decision to go to college or to play professionally.

He'll have to do this for at least one year, before he becomes eligible to be drafted into the NBA in 2024. LeBron James Jr, also known as Bronny James, is expected to be a highly-touted prospect, after showing similarities in his game to that of his father.

Bronny now joins his father with Nike, after he first joined the brand in 2003 when he became the first basketball player in history to sign a shoe deal before he had entered the NBA. Of course, Nike were proven right to do so, with LeBron going on to become one of the greatest players in the history of the sport - as he remains playing at an elite level ahead of his 20th season.
