Earlier this summer, Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James played in the famed Drew League, a pro-am league based in Los Angeles.
Now, he is at it again. He made a much-anticipated appearance at The CrawsOver Pro-Am Game in Seattle on Saturday.
It was a real treat for a metropolitan area that hasn’t had an NBA team since the 2007-08 season and truly deserves one again.
James was mobbed by a huge crowd once he made his way into the gym for the contest, and once he got into the game, he didn’t disappoint.
He served up multiple highlights for the fans who were in attendance.

Chet Holmgren got hurt trying to defend James
Unfortunately for Oklahoma City Thunder fans, their top prospect was injured in Saturday’s contest.
Chet Holmgren, the second pick in this summer’s NBA draft, was trying to contain James while running back on a fast break, and he suffered what looked like a lower-body injury.

One of the last things anyone wants to see is an NBA player, especially one with tremendous potential like Holmgren, getting injured in an exhibition like this one. Hopefully, it’s a minor injury and he’ll be ready for the start of training camp.
The game ended up getting canceled
Just midway through the second quarter, condensation started to build up on the court, and there was just too much of it to keep it under control.
A usually warm and humid day in the area created conditions inside the venue that were deemed unsafe.
You could tell LeBron knew it wasn’t safe to be out on that floor. Could see him whispering to Rich Paul at one point. Then MarJon Beauchamp tried a dunk & couldn’t get any traction. Jamal Crawford called the game after that and Bron looked at Rich like, “I called it.”

Even though the contest was suspended at that point, the fans who were in the building still got what they came for.
James put in work afterward
James has gained a reputation over the years for being diligent about the work he puts in on his game and on keeping his body right.
Even at age 37, he seems dedicated to being his best, and even after the balance of the game was canceled, James decided to get in a workout.
