LeBron James and Bronny James made history by finally playing in a Lakers game together

After years of waiting, NBA fans finally got the chance to see LeBron James and Bronny James play together in an NBA game.

While the two have technically played together in preseason action, Tuesday night’s Los Angeles Lakers home opener against the Minnesota Timberwolves is the first time they’ve gotten real minutes together in an official NBA contest.

The moment got the fans at Crypto.com Arena cheering as this exciting moment in NBA history unfolded right in front of them during the game’s second quarter.

A father and son playing in the same game really is something you don’t see every day in professional sports. It’s the first time this has ever happened in the NBA, in fact.

LeBron James got a sweet dunk while Bronny James was in the contest, and the elder James tried to connect with the younger James on a 3-pointer that didn’t connect with the basket.

The highlight for Bronny James in his playing time was playing good defense to help force an Anthony Edwards miss on a Timberwolves jumper.

What a cool moment this was for the James family, the Lakers and the NBA.
