Leandro Trossard has pinpointed returning striker Gabriel Jesus as the man who can win Arsenal the Premier League title.
Jesus got his first Premier League action since November in the win over Fulham, coming off the bench to play the final 13 minutes. It is a huge boost for Mikel Arteta 's Gunners as they look to win the title for the first time in 19 years.
The Brazilian was hit by injury in the World Cup, which has left Eddie Nketiah as the only natural striker in the squad since then. Trossard was signed in the January window to boost Arteta's attacking options and has more than proven his worth.
He provided the assists for all three of Arsenal's goals at Craven Cottage on Sunday. But he has admitted he will need to put up a stern fight for his place in the team now that Jesus is fit again.
“He is a top player and he has contributed a lot already for Arsenal. You can see his presence. He makes other players better as well. We need everyone and it’s great to have him back," Trossard said.
“There is now more competition for places - a lot. But I had it already when I arrived here. It’s not that I went into the starting XI from the first week - I had to fight as well for it.

“We have such a good group and competition is that high that, as you saw in the last few weeks, we need everyone to win games. That’s what it is all about. That’s how you can win things.”
Arsenal maintained their five-point advantage over closest challengers Manchester City with the win over Fulham. There are now just 11 games left in which City can overhaul Arteta's side.
But despite the campaign winding down, Trossard is adamant that the Gunners cannot afford to take their foot off the gas. Instead he urged his team-mates to keep their focus during the title run-in.
“Obviously, it’s a great away win and we want to give them that belief. For us, though, we need to take it game by game. It’s a great win today, 3-0 at Fulham is not for everyone. They have had such a great season," he added.
“There’s still a long way to go, though - 11 games. A lot can happen. Last month there was a lot of talk after we lost against City at home. Now it is again that we are at the top of the table. We just need to look at ourselves.
"If we keep the momentum high, and the quality high, it’s up to us. Everyone is heading in the same direction and the atmosphere in the group is so good. That’s one of the major parts to winning things - when everyone works for each other.
“Someone gives a bad ball, the other one will make up for it. That’s how it goes and that is what Arsenal are all about at the moment.”
